At approximately 1750 hours, EMS81 was dispatched to 5332 Rock Quarry Road in Raleigh after a tree reportedly fell on a residence.  First arriving units worked quickly to locate a woman who was believed to be trapped under a tree in a bedroom.  A 32 year old woman was pronounced dead on the scene after she was located in the bedroom.  Two other people were transported to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.

Units on scene included Garner EMS81, Eastern Wake EMS62, Wake County EMS 31, Medic 94, District Chief 1, District Chief 2, Truck 1, Eastern Wake Fire Department Rescue 11, Car 10 and Raleigh Fire Department's Engine 26 and Ladder 8.
