At approximately 1230 hours, Garner EMS81 was dispatched to a MVC on Fayetteville Road and Simpkins Road.  En route to the scene, additionally information was received that this MVC involved a jack knifed truck and several vehicles.  Additional resources were requested.  First arriving units confirmed the reports but reported only one minor injury.  The additional units were canceled.

One patient was transported to WakeMed Hospital with non life threatening injuries.

Units on scene included Garner EMS Chief 800, Chief 801, EMS81, Wake County EMS Assistant Chief 200 and Garner Fire Department's Engine 3 and Rescue 1.
